It has been a great weekend.
Starting with Ky coming to stay Saturday and staying overnight.
Went to lunch with Ky, sil Alice and friend Julie. We met at the coffee shop in the old church in Milton.
Then off to Loose Threads Quilt shop to buy fabrics for the Buggy Barn challenge quilt.
Here are the colors I picked
Kylee scored, she picked out a kit she liked from the shop.
After coming home we went to work and Ky is sewing a project for school.
Don't be mistaken she is not doing the quilt on the design wall but she made a flag - Betsy Ross flag 13 stars and strips. I was really hoping to get this quilted for her by the end of day, but too many things happening today.
Last night Ky gave us a demonstration of her playing the cello. She is doing really well.
Finished 2 quilt tops for customer- she asked to have them done by 4 to save her another trip from Lake Mills to here. I did it.
In addition to all the sewing that went on this weekend, we went to lunch with friends and they came back to the house to visit.
We had a very nice visit with our friends, and the visit included me giving a haircut to Lenny.
I have been cutting Wayne's hair for years, but I don't do other men's haircuts. At least not until today.
Surprisingly it turned out pretty good. Not exactly barbershop quality but all in all not bad.
Finally ended the day going out for supper to Culvers. Good thing Ive just about run out of steam for the day.
