My Day To Quilt

Rainy morning so I was able to get into my sewing room early and complete the demo quilt for Loose Threads. Using my pattern Six Flags  Not quilted yet, Mary Kay will do the quilting.  She is going to be making kits for this quilt and sell along with my pattern.  Hopefully we can also schedule some classes using this pattern.  If interested in taking a class contact MK at Loose Threads.

After the rain this morning, it just got hot and sticky, another good excuse not to work outside, but to finally work on a quilt of mine.

I made this quilt for my granddaughter Brooklynn last year but have not had the opportunity to quilt it.

Jumping right in this morning I loaded the quilt and proceeded to quilt using a panto by Patricia Ritter - Double Bubble.  Perfect for a fish quilt.

Just need to put on the binding and then its finished.

I will be giving this to her for her birthday - which is not until September, but I think I will give it to her early. Why not. Most of the time we don't get to see her on her birthday, so this year I am ahead of the game.

Just realized tonight is the Edgerton Quilt Committee Meeting, ohhh show and tell.
