One of many finds that Diane brought back from California.
There were several ladies that made these blocks and dated 1992. Several of the blocks are signed by the ladies, which makes is so personal for the owner of this quilt.
Until I finished the quilting (large meandering) and laid out on the floor for the picture I didn't see what a pretty pattern the blocks made. I knew it was a Log Cabin, but the way the dirks and lights are put together gives it the interesting pattern. As most quilts, you really have to step away from them to see the over all pattern of the quilt.
This is just lovely and I hope her aunt likes the way it is quilted.
