Finished the hand sewing binding on Star Light Star Bright last night. I can't tell you how much I like this quilt. First because it was an original by me, second because it turned out so pretty.
I am really excited about making my own quilt designs and having them turn out just as I dreamed up in my head.
I quilted it using freehand stars and loop.
Next time, maybe I will blog the entire procedure. I already have an new one floating around in my head.

Yes Aztec is mine, but I mis wrote the pattern title it is actually Athena's Puzzle by Janine Burke, you can find by googling pattern title by Janine Burke. I purchased this as a kit last year or year before, cant remember exactly when I bought it at Patch Works quilt shop in Elm Grove WI, but you can buy the pattern on line and found they also offer kit on line. let me know if you have trouble finding it. I agree it is a beautiful quilt. Made this for my daughter

Happy you found it. Please let me know how it turns out for you. Would love to see a picture after you finish. I would like to do another, but will have to figure out how many fq it take to make. The pattern doesnt specify, and I didnt make a note of it when I was making it.
